History
Bunyan Lodge has been established since 1993 and provides single room accommodation to 18 service users under the age of 65 with mental health needs. Sixteen service users can be supported within the main building and up to two service users at any time can be accommodated in a 'moving on' flat located close to Bunyan Lodge which is designed to support and assist service users through the transition process in enabling and empowering them to live independently in the community.

Location
Located close to Bedford Town Centre and within walking distance to Shops, Banks, Post Office and Library. Easily reached from the A1 and junction 13 of the M1 motorway. The main Thameslink line is approximately half a mile from the home.

Accommodation
The main house has three floors offering 16 single rooms, a lounge, dining room, smoking room and laundry room. Nurse call system in situ to summon assistance when necessary. Passenger lift to serve both floors. Garden at rear of property.

• Qualified and experienced care staff. Training facilities for non experienced staff available 
• Open visiting
• Organized activities and outings, holidays as requested
• Transport available on request and a 6 seater vehicle is available to ensure service users can remain socially inclusive and visit places of their choice.

Meals
Hot and cold meals are available. Varied and nutritious food is offered and individual variations are catered for. Service users are encouraged to contribute to the menu planning process.
